I've tried a "lens spray" made in jappa and worked out quite nice, even after a few months. Despite designed for lens if you want a dark look you had to apply a pretty thick layer, and that just blocks too much light. I did this on the rear lights, fog lights and indicators...headlights I think are a different matter altogether though. I doubt tint films work. - Oh and dont forget LTSA won't allow you to do so anyway, thats why mines all back to normal (the spray is removable, cool eh.)
